A Glimpse Inside Laura Teacher's Class

As a new semester begins, classes are being moved around and unfortunately I will be losing one of my favorite classes to another teacher. My "Basic 3" class of 2nd/3rd graders has been such a positive part of my experience in Korea. They are quick learners and extremely kind and funny. I have been teaching them how to sign the alphabet in ASL to help improve their spelling, so please check out the video below of the class showing off what they learned.

This is a picture of the wall behind my desk. Thanks to Aunt Beth for sending the comics!

This student, Michael, really caught on to learning how to sign the alphabet.

Working on pronunciation...

Practicing our Ls and Rs...

  1. This is great Laura! Thanks for sharing. They are so great!

  2. OMG, Sawyer!

I have a photo of him in my bedroom wall too...

I think my wall beats yours. =) I'm running out of postcard space.

  3. That is so cute! I like the kid that gets mad because he's trying to show off his skills, and the other kid keeps interrupting.
By the way, that red shirt you're wearing in the picture of you and your kids is really cute!
